Translations

Cafenoone, as the creator of the webcomic What was Missing?, allows non-profit individuals/groups to translate our works to any language as long as our guidelines and conditions are observed.

Please report any unauthorized use of our work to gain profits/revenues.

Translation Guidelines

Due to numerous requests received, cafenoone will allow translations of our work as long as the following guidelines are observed.

  • As the creator of the webcomic, cafenoone shall be given due credits in every translation. This includes linking the sites where the original work is published (i.e. WEBTOONS and Tapas), as well as cafenoone's contacts.

  • Only non-profit translations are allowed; any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising (defined as solicitations for direct or indirect commercial advantage) is not allowed. Hosting the translations on websites, social media channels, or other platforms displaying paid advertisements is also prohibited.

  • Please endeavor to accurately translate our work in a way that the original meaning is preserved. To this end, modifying (i.e. adding, deleting, changing) any part of the content outside translations is prohibited.

  • Translators must acquire the original work or the "raws" to be translated from the official sites.

  • Only one individual/group per language will be allowed to translate our work to avoid confusion.

  • Link your translations to us (through email or DM in Twitter/IG) to maintain an organized list here in carrd for interested readers.

  • Please encourage readers of the translations to support the original work on WEBTOONS and Tapas by viewing, subscribing and sharing. These support will help us creators to continue working on this project.

Cafenoone reserves the right to completely remove/change this permission should repeated violations/abuse arise.
